Sam Cook-Parrott of Radiator Hospital has announced a free download of our tape, Do Each Other, released on local Grand Rapids cassette imprint, Curious Lacunae. We sing each other’s songs in new ways, exploring the height and depth and width and breadth of arrangement that’s possible in bedroom folk/pop, whilst remaining true to the spirit of the original...

We re-wrote each other’s songs, and recorded them — now you can buy the tape! Sam Cook-Parrott of Radiator Hospital did his homework, arranging and recording lo-fi garage versions of four Ribbons of Song tunes, and I’ve returned the favor, lovingly choosing and recording five Radiator Hospital tunes in my moody folk-pop style. Some very good news: Our 2010 album, Pocket Dream, has earned some local recognition, and the Ribbons have been asked by...

Friends, if you didn’t know (I didn’t), there’s a film festival in our town next weekend. The Michigan Film Festival. You probably need a ticket to be there. It will be four special songs: Mess Me Up, Oh! Tahquamenon, Windblown Weeds, Peekaboo Eyes. See you there!...
